Spoiler is a device which is aimed to redirect airflow around the vehicle in racing applications. In most cases, it is used as a restyling component that usually doesn’t affect the vehicle’s aerodynamics, but rather makes the vehicle appear sportier and powerfully built. Air dam is a spoiler placed under a vehicle’s front bumper to redirect airflow. Usually, it is used to transmit air to the radiator or to a transmission or engine oil cooler.
