
Body kits are those components which are being mounted to the vehicle in order
to attain a muscular, sportier and more exotic looks. It also gives the vehicle
an enhanced performance. The most famous Ford Taurus body kits is usually consisting
of rear bumper, lift kit, fiber hoods, full aerodynamic kits, ground effects package,
front bumper, fiber hoods, side skirts, lambo doors, front bumper overlay, fender
flares and wings. Side skirts are restyling accessories that is attached to a
vehicle's rocker panel to make the vehicle looks lower to the ground even in the
absence of a lowering kit. Side skirt is usually a part of ground effects package.

Spoiler is also included in the body kit. It is a component which is installed
in the vehicle to make it look sportier. Sometimes it is also use to redirect
air flow specially in racing applications. Some known spoilers are front spoiler,
rear spoiler, tailgate spoiler and truck cap spoiler. In addition, fender flare
is a raised portion which is mounted to the side of a vehicle over a wheelwell.
It is usually made up of plastic, urethane or fiberglass. It is frequently used
in off-road vehicles.
