For this year, Taurus interior was modernized and made much quieter. It offers new seals for its doors, windows and rear mirrors together with new damping in the floor that gives quieter compartment. For easier access, the adjustable pedals have been moved to the instrument panel and illuminated cruise control switches have been added.

 

New seven-spoke wheels were also added to attain new look. 2003 Ford Taurus offers more standard features which include power windows and door locks, a tilt steering column and floor mats. Both leather and cloth seat coverings are improved, having lighter colors for brighter car interior. It also comes with new dashboard treatments. For 2003, Taurus comes as a four-door sedan or a station wagon.

 

Sedan is offered in four flavors: the LX, SE, SES and SEL. A new Sport package for SES sedan is offered as an option. The wagon, on the other hand, comes in two versions - the SE and the SEL edition. A four-speed automatic transmission is available for all models and two 3.0-liter V6 engines are offered as an option.
